portraits of grace and war found in the faces of Stuckey's customers

expansive than the the things i store
    In weary travelers all alone
who call the dark of doubt their own
the widow lost in tides of grief
    the skeptic lost beyond belief
    like unrelenting lovers yearn
they weep, but O God, how they learn.

I love Stuckey's! You make me homesick for getting in the car and travelling the lonesome road looking, anticipating that mile by mile welcome, enticing, calling, expecting. The light's on. Stop in.
Wow! Great memories at Stuckey's. Eat a pecan roll for me! w
