A Little Invitation Reading: Your Hope

So what’s your reason for hope

What’s your reason to live.

Some will trust in political systems

Others will trust in their own savings and wealth

Some will trust in the human spirit

And others will trust in solutions found in knowledge.

But at the end of the day

When war and conflict pass away

There will be just two

A holy God and you.

And all those futile efforts to justify your life

All the scattered pieces

All the questions

Your selfish rejections

Will come down to this one thing

Who was your king

Everthing else… well it won’t mean a thing

Time is sliping away

Soon dawn will turn to day

Are you ready

Are you willing take your life

In all its complexity and confusion

And place it in the hand of the one whose name is love

And say I am yours forver.

I don’t understand it all

But I trust you

This world has let me down

There’s uncertainty all around

But I am yours forever.

I choose to believe in you

He will give you a reason to live, to have hope

Through tears and joy

He’ll never forsake you.

He’ll walk with you through everything you face.

Will you right now place it all in His hands?
