    Details on the past couple of Days

    We got to the condo last night in time to hang out.  Went into New Bern today. Ate at Captain Ratty's.  Great fried oyster's!

    They had great cornbread and here's the recipe!

     

    1 15 oz can cream corn 
    4 eggs 
    1/2 C canola oil 
    2 C sour cream (or yogurt)

     

    Mix all ingredients together. 
    Bake in 13 X 9 pan coated with Pam. 
    350o 10 minutes prep 30-35 min cook

    I was trying SO hard to remember the name of Captain Ratty's to tell Ed Sutton about it last Thursday evening. I knew it was Captain "Something." Don't you just love New Bern? Hope you get the chance to go to the governor's palace/living history tour and watch the amazing sunsets!!! We miss you, Debbie Cooper
