Poem for "All IN" series

The battle rages on today
And yet we’re satisfied to say
Let others be the ones to tell
The path away from Satan’s hell

Our battle stations empty now
Rest and food become our goal
The bitterness that we allow
as we refuse to fill our role

Other’s pain we just ignore
But there is one who shouts arise
Your life was meant for so much more
Than comfort, rest, and compromise

The time is now. The hour late
The need has never been so great
To slumber is the greater sin
He’s calling us to be all in
