Postmodernism, politics, and relationships

I really do believe in the culture war that's going on.  It's critical but I think we are losing the heart of the gospel sometimes when we don't recognize the power of the love of Christ. We as the church seem to think that by winning an argument we will win hearts. This is false.  We were not called to win the debate. We are called to be the salt and light of the world. We are called to be a peculiar people in this postmodern culture. We are called to the poor not to congress. We are called to proclaim not condemn. We ate called to love. This i how they will know that we are His disciples- if we have love for one another.
