    dust and earth

there hasn't been a dragon in these parts for a thousand years

but in one missing heartless moment

it's unclean advent saw dawn as invitation.

    the hum of uncreated exclamation.

that could ever drum the skies with starry hosts of truth

the ions are proof of nothing more sure as God.

the first and last of every tale

to the end of my days

I scale every doubt with the simplicity of certain

    words

    like distant herds of wildebeest

truth is as wild as unknown lands

    only by the mockingbird

Still I am drawn into the fire of providence

    the chariot of doom

    the essence of every sword

that is sure in skill and swift trickery

that tumbles dragons to dust and earth.
