the silence from the horizon
Thursday, December 16, 2010 at 11:08PM He wrestled with the getaway need.
Knowing the back alleys of the far country.
stripped of the hope
(always thinking there was so much more.)
where is the hope beyond the vastness of desolation (?)
he
knew better than anyone (the ache)
most prodigals rage against truth
and the hopelesses is palpable (For parents)
the fear of coffins and shame.
fear of failure and rehearsing every word said in those years before.
would that i die instead of him!
is there an end?
All things pass but time is on the side of God.
Rest is scarcer than desert pools- The silence is God waiting for him to grow.
Not the son
the father.
Will he stand on God's fixture of time
or will he give up.
Because the story is as much about the father as it is about the son.
