Summary of today

After a long day of travel we woke up this morning and drove around Palmer Alaska. We went to first baptist to meet with Bruce, the pastor and Chuck, the worship pastor. and then Kay and Christine took us to The Butte. What a view! The climb was steep and the bugs were out but the view took my breath away.
It was one of those days where I looked at Nathan and thought, "Wow, I'm not going to have that many more chances to be with him like this" We also had a great meal at "The Noisy Goose Cafe.  I had reindeer sausage, eggs, French toast and hash browns. Christine's husband Pat is a soap distributor who travels up to Dead Horse and Prudhoe Bay. I'd love to go out there to see the northern lights. This has been like a dream trip so far. We feel so at home in this area.  Tomorrow it's salmon fishing near the glacier and church that night.  We're going to be leaving at 4:30 in the morning.
