Spiritual wilderness

If you are in a spiritual wilderness you are in a good place- chances are you will here one cry out prepare the way of the Lord.

The voice of John the Baptist crying out prepare the way for the Lord. That voice changed everything. It was a prelude to a new word for a people that were chained to a legalistic, dead faith. It was a word God had spoken since the beginning but was drowned out by the drone of ladder-climbing, and hoop jumping religion.

When that voice is heard we look at each other, we see the greatness of God that moved through eternity, We see him and we have to say “Who am I?”

We are temporal, weak, and yet treasured.
