Still praying...

As we have moved together toward change, I am still praying for God to pour out His Spirit on us. The formulaic recipes for church growth are not as predictable as one would think. I have got to simply surrender to Him.  Right now we are waiting for God and that's both good and uncomfortable. I'd like to say that I am in control. But "in control" is far from where Jesus wants a pastor to be. He wants me to be expectant on Him and He will bring forth the change we so desperately need.
