when will the Church begin to hate

when will we look beyond our petty battles
that prove our irrelevancy to the world?

When will the anger rise to a boiling point
when will we come to the place of realization
yes, when will we begin to hate.
when will we hate the injustice
    the needless disease of apathy
    the lies of the enemy
    the plight of poverty
the complacency of a feel-good gospel that ignores hard truth
and splashes in the puddles of prosperity doctrine
when will we hate sin and the grip of addictions
when will we hate a culture of comfortable living?

When will we hate the lies of a me-centered church
that caters to a country club mindset
that cares more for rules than redemption
When will we hate the idea of self-satisfaction as the end all cure to false redemption?
When will we hate the poison of gossip and refuse to listen?
When will we hate the power of grumbling grouches and their frequent ability to sidetrack the mission?
When will we hate the state of our church and crave deep within us divine transformation?
When we we long for love that crushes fear and brings joy to the nations?
When will a discontentment drive us closer to God and farther away from the comfort zones
    the ether of denominations?
For only when we begin to hate well, will we be able to love divinely.

    when....
