    Gen 25: 25-34 Sibling Rivalry

Jacob and Esau:  The mild mannered one and the hairy one, the hunter and the planter, Daddy's boy and Momma boy, the schemer and the easy mark. A study in contrasts and contracts...

They're uniqueness became their weakness. Just as Esau was the first born, he is the first to suffer from his own weakness. His cravings got the best of him. It's a cautionary tale about moments of fleeting stupidity. It's played over and over again in History. We observe the drama of leaders who are favored heirs lose it all because of an uncontrolled apatite or a brief moment of stupidity.

Everyone has a weakness that we have to overcome whether it be greed, porn, or rocky road with extra sprinkles.
