Thoughts on Mourning from Gen 23

Just a few observations from this chapter.

It doesn't matter if your dearly loved person dies at the age of 26 or 126, you'll still mourn.

Verse 3: Then Abraham rose from beside his dead wife and spoke to the Hittites.

As humans and followers of God, we are compelled to rise up from the dead.  There is more to be done. There is the hope of glory. There are grandkids. There are things that require us to put one foot in front of the other. We mourn and we rise.
