    Gen 20: Oops, he did it again.

    Abimelech went on to Abraham, "Whatever were you thinking of when you did this thing?"

    (That sounds familiar... I've said it to my kids a number of times.  And to be honest people have said that to me as well.) Good guys and bad guys-  the interesting note in this whole chapter to me is that Abraham is the man behaving badly-- not the pagan.  Abraham pulls the same stunt he did 20 years earlier. (Take my wife... i mean sister.. please!)  But despite this little habit of untruth and sneaky behavior God's grace is illustrated.  Have you ever wondered whether God could forgive you for the same stupid behavior? He does with Abe and he does with me.  Abraham wasn't worthy and I am not worthy. God says, let me show you something, there was this sinner/saint named Abraham that was a slow learner too... and....
