a whisper into eternity

a silent tsunami of grief

because i know i won't see you

until all is done.

i miss you when i'm weary

when everything seems complete- your memory reminds me

i miss the view--so close so far

i miss the structure of your sentences

i miss the arguments- constantly pushing me away (yes i miss that too)

i miss wondering about God with you.

all at once 

this mighty consequence of separation

I can only hear your voice when all is silent 

why is mourning not like morning- consistent and ever renewing

instead this sun rises in an moment --a song, a word, a memory, a dream, a fear.
