    motives

    I learn when I struggle.
    I transcend when I descend.
    I triumph in the steady risk to abound in the wellspring of human experience
    Knowing this- all my time is borrowed currency
    what am I purchasing with the grace of today?
    Esteem?
    Comfort?
    me-focused navigational mazes?
    It is poor counterfeit of redemption to carve out a gravestone of my own glory.
