moment of clarity... I'm RICH

I've had a moment of clarity about all this financial stuff. In the scope of things-- the world i live in... i am RICH. I've eaten three meals today and i have clean water. I have a car. A car!!! Do you realize that only a small percentage of the people on earth have one of those? I am rollin' in it. I have air conditioning and heat. WOW! I am rich!

We are the aristocrats of the world. My family members have never been murdered by warlords and we have doctors that we can see when we get sick.

I have a room full of books and I have a masters degree. I have a job I don't have to worry about getting killed doing it. I AM RICH, RICH, RICH.

(And that's kind of scary considering Jesus' warnings to the rich.)

I agree and would add, the love of my wife, kids and family, great friends, eternal salvation, and the love of God. I LOVE and live for the stuff that a recession can't touch. I'M RICH!!

Wow! Sometimes, I wish I could just have everything stripped away to bring me that much closer to the Lord. I'm not sure if I could handle it, but it would sure be an incredible adventure. Thanks for reminding me of how blessed I am. I have a beautiful, smart, and funny wife who loves me even when I mess up. I have a great job. I have a place in which I can worship my wonderful Savior ANYTIME! I TOO AM RICH!
