this is so wierd

i have a day off! It's been such a long time and here I am admitting to my own wickedness. For so long I've been using days off to catch up with bi-vo work, conferences, writing assignments, and other things. This feels so wierd. I got up this morning and went to starbucks, got a coffee and a rice krispy treat, went to Hendersonville water office and let them swipe my card and here I am writing in my long forsaken blog. I still have things to do but i'm going to give it a bit of a rest. I'm learning the leason of the pastorate-- there's always places to go and people to meet. there are always prayers to be said and people to encourage. I hear there are battles to be won but I'm kind of the dinosaur in Toy Story. "I hate confrontation" But I'm sure those kinds of things will occur. We are moved in and for the moment I'm going to ignore the "gotta"s.
