Prayer for the evangelical church tonight

I pray...

that we will be a force of love that confounds the world.
that we will be relentless in our desire to fight for the helpless and the oppressed
that we will pour our hearts into bringing the Kingdom of God into powerful opposition against the principalities and rules of this dark age.
that we will unite to solve real problems, with the realization that love is our greatest antiballistic weapons.
that the church no longer be at war with itself.
that we will honor the future by a total lack of respect for religious infrastructures and the hyperinstitutionalism that finds its source outside the teachings of Christ
that we will be purified by the redeeming power of Christ's blood from the power structure of the status quo.
that we will not fear people but rather the systems that captivate them.
that we will not be seduced by our money, power, and self-absorption but rather that we will run from these mirages of personal security.
that we will appear regailed in the holy passion that sent Christ to the cross.
