It's still good

it is good.
sun and star and shores of sparkling tide
grazing beast and swiming schools of perfection
suckling infant, sweet helpless hands
and God whispers, "yes"
amidst bombs,
hatred passed from children's children
hope seems ephimeral and empty
but i see it today
the wind of the Spirit still moves over the face of the deep
deep calling to deep
and my gaze is lifted in secret places.
This is where the straight line of truth heals me
tumbling toward the throne with my own human uncertainty
still i walk
because i believe that it's still good.
