This is my oil, O God!

In the midst of exhalation and worship,
a holy realization of Your grace in my life is planted.
My life, my breath, my soul
is at the mercy of a Living and Powerful God.
I exalt You in midst of uncertainty
when life crashes down
when life's precious feast is an empty table
when i feast at the table overflowing
with all stubbornness broken
all sterile, dreary words dissolving before You
I see the depth of grace when everything is destroyed
I see the width of love in the narrow way that sent nails through flesh
I see the height of life as I fall face down.
All I can do is what I must- which is to worship
and this is my oil, O God.
