It's hard to keep a secret about life-decisions while blogging

For the past month I've been keeping a decision secret from lots of people in my life just because I didn't want to cause a lot of needless speculation, but...

on November 18th Bluegrass Baptist Church will be voting on me as their senior pastor. I am thrilled, nervous and surrendered to God's will. I'll go if there is a strong mandate and so I would;d like you to pray for me and my family during this time. Pray for clear guidance and direction. I've had a wonderful job and LifeWay for 15 years and so it's hard to think about leaving all the mentors, writers, artists, friends, and dreams but if God's in this, I am so excited about what God will teach me through this experience.

We will continue to pray for you, knowing God will use you where ever you go.

I can't imagine Lifeway without you, but I can imagine Bluegrass with you. Go with God, His ways are better.
    Blessings,
    Wanda

God bless as you seek His will. That's all any of us can pray for. We're in the middle of praying that same prayer.

Life is funny. Who'da thunk that a few years ago when we were working on "Heirlooms" (you in that wig...heh) that we'd be bonded by blogging AND you'd be my pastor? I love it.
