Obedience is Truth is Freedom

Then Jesus turned to the Jews who had claimed to believe in him. "If you stick with this, living out what I tell you, you are my disciples for sure. Then you will experience for yourselves the truth, and the truth will free you."

Jesus, living out what you say to me is so much more difficult than the listening. I've often found security and false protection in the busyness of life. My pain often finds it's home in swift flight and yet you call me to forsake my "Look Dad no hands" mode. To cling to solemn obedience and the joyful ecstacy of the divine Love Story and experience the freedom of truth.
