Teach me joy

As i long for You, teach me joy in the midst of struggle.

Lord, i confess the powerful grip of self-verification. Release me into the freedom of Your Word and Its power to loose the bonds of earned acceptance.

I hunger for You, Jehovah. You continue to lead me into dark valleys and green pastures. Growth comes in the valley. Remind me of that truth today. Show me the amazing paradox of joy in uncertainties and brokenness.

Above everything, give me a heart that covets only You.

This is my prayer this morning. I believe in You.
