    There are two things...

that i've noted of people who stop growing-- fear of failure and territorialism. i have to battle these on a daily basis.

Oscar Wilde once said, "There are we thinks we would throw away if we were not afraid that someone might pick them back up." We all want a place to call our own and we want to look good in the place we call our own. When our lives become unmanagable and ugly we find ourselves hiding in the garden and hearing God call out, "Where are you?"

So, so true. I fight fear of failure all the time. The fight is exhausting, but the freedom it provides is worth the fight.

I find myself singing,"What if I stumble, what if I fall" quite often. Charles Stanley says we're not responsible for the results of our actions, we're only responsible for following God's leading...

Melinda and I will still love you if you fall. we'll probably love you even more.
