Heard from Isaac.  He say's he's doing fine.
saying farwell to a number of friends who are leaving lifeway- including Rick Burton- an artist I've worked with for the past 14 years and my editor Marvin Owen. 
My job will be changing although I'm not sure how.
such is the life in the publishing buisiness.

Wish you could! Lifeway is just doing a little downsizing and hiring now is rare. But I'll keep you posted:-)

I'm glad you heard from Isaac. That's great news in itself!

Change is the nature of any business now. My father in law worked the same job for almost his entire working life. Those days are gone, I'm afraid! Still, it must be tough to say good-bye to a colleague after 14 years.

it's was a big relief to hear from him. Don't know a lot of details but he said he's definitely wanting to go get his braces off. i have to put my worries about his choices on the altar. maybe that what it's all about for me.

it's been a sad thing to say goodbye to long time friends at work but you are absolutely right. it is the way things work these days.
