a collision of agendas

The agenda of God in my life is not:
notoriety
comfort
entitlement
certainty
self-sufficiency
self-improvement
financial prosperity
professional success
personal power

The goal of God in my life is:
relinquishment
trust in the reality of God
to be immersed in His grace
to fellowship with Him
to be abandoned of all that is not in Him.

This collision of agendas cuts at the very core of my existence. It's like learning to walk again every time I wake up. God's call, goal, agenda, and strategy is to devastate my will to such an extent that it is finally and completely submitted to His plan. It is an difficult experience but I know that it is the only hope i have.
