quiet day today
Monday, June 12, 2006 at 10:35PM lots of folks are at the convention this week so things are quiet at work. A great time to catch up on the details. Tomorrow I need to redo the expense report for June which contains most of my San Diego trip. I'm off to Dallas for another performance of "A Christmas Prayer" somewhere in the Grapevine area. Leaving on Monday morning and getting back on Tuesday morning early. Not enough time to do much of anything except rehearse, perform, go to bed and come back to Nashville. I spend today catching up on contracts and phone calls. Busy with the left brain stuff but the right hemisphere was played out for the most part so if felt good just to knock out some details that have been left undone for a while now.
I don't really miss the S.B. Convention after ten years of not going. I'm afraid I'm not much or a meet and greet kind of person. Plus lots of it seems really phony and pretentious. (Not saying that good things don't happen at conventions like that but I always have a tendency to be overly sensitive to the stuff that seems fake and disheartening.
