Just details...

I returned last night from Green Valley in Birmingham after the dress rehearsal. Arrive home at 1 AM and got back up at 6 AM for the shoot. (Who signed off on this schedule? Me... Stupid is as stupid does....F.G.)

The shoot went well. I got to wear blue jeans... oh the simple pleasures. It's great to work with people you really like. Caved away inside a studio we had no idea at first about all the crazy weather that swept across i-40. I don't think i've ever seen such a plethora of colors on a weather radar screen. But we were blessed to be surrounded by Methodists.

All was well. Not the same for 10 people who died today in the storms. Lord, comfort the hurting tonight and bless those who give mercy.

Tomorrow morning i must drive back to Alabama for the two performances of the musical. I will no doubt dodge more severe weather... I'll be back in Nashville Sunday night late.
