Thoughts on Romans 5:8

We can understand someone dying for a person worth dying for, and we can understand how someone good and noble could inspire us to selfless sacrifice. 8But God put his love on the line for us by offering his Son in sacrificial death while we were of no use whatever to him.

9Now that we are set right with God by means of this sacrificial death, the consummate blood sacrifice, there is no longer a question of being at odds with God in any way.

Jesus came into my life with a complete view of the everything of me. He sees past my platform face and slight attempts at creativity. He persistencely knows my galant failed attempt @ self healing. And he waits for me to fall and he is there to scoop me up and put all the pieces together again. I wish i deserved it but I buried that lie a long time ago. I covet the mercy of a God who calls me beloved.
