What will it take before we daily recognize my own spiritual poverty?
What will it take before we turn to the discarded masses of third world humanity?
What will it take before we stop our power plays and our petty theological battles.
what will it take before we start talking to survivors?
what will it take before we acknowledge that justice comes not from retaliation?
what will it take before we set aside our lust for power, sex, riches and fixes?
what will it take before we start treating sinners as God's treasured prize to rescue?
what will it take before we stop watching reality shows and start living reality lives.
what will it take before we worship God instead of the works of our hands?
What will it take before we hunger to enter the chambers of the inner courts of worship?
what will it take before we start acting like the church in the world, instead of acting like the world in the church?
what will it take before we stop believing that political battles will win the WAR?
What will it take before we pray in prayer meetings and fast in our fellowships?
What will it take before we love those that don't look like us?
what will it take before we burn the measuring sticks of who is righteous and worthy to serve?
what will it take before we lavish him with ludicrously insane downpours of sacrifice and worship?
