    My God can be trusted

God didn't go to all the trouble of sending his Son merely to point an accusing finger, telling the world how bad it was. He came to help, to put the world right again.
    (MSG) John 3:17

the distinctive of the Christian faith is the portrait of an open-handed Messiah. God comes to Earth to say, "I have every reason to condemn, but I choose not to condemn. I could choose to seek out the sinner like a divine bloodhound, tree him and put him on display as a warning to the world. Instead I choose to court the mankind like an unrequited lover.

There's no political agenda in the divine DNA.
He simply seeks us with a stubborn love that will not be denied.

Rita Springer writes, "I want to know of this Jesus who's been loving me."

This is my quest. Lord, thank you for capturing me with grace. Show me the way to your chambers.
