Back home

I'm back home after the trip to Baton Rouge. I haven't really had time to digest the whole experience but i'm so grateful to God and to my friends who prayed for me during the experience. the funeral was modest. no music, i was the only speaker. i had the chance to visit with former teachers and old friends.

it's hard for me to come to the awareness that danny isn't a phone call away, but i am so grateful that he died peacefully in his sleep. Peggy, Jack and Leah are doing well. Peggy asked me to write remembrances of Danny for her children's sake. I'm planning on doing that and blogging them as well as a memorial to him.
