Confession

I must make a confession this morning. I had been struggling this temptation ever since I first saw it on the shelf.  I had always had my kids with me every time I passed it each morning but today I was all alone. Personal accountability does work.  Maybe it was all the stress I have been under or maybe it was that I hadn't had my private devotional time yet . But no one was around, I could fight the temptation no more. I picked it up and ashamedly brought it to the cashier...

Stay away from the LifeWay Cafe vending machines, bro. They live there too. But, who could pass on the "Pastry Product Of The Year"?

Thanks for the heads-up, Ray! For some reason (maybe the holiness of this place) I seem to be less tempted at LifeWay--- I ussually am able to pick the ones with the grean check "heart healthy" icons. That vending machine is of the devil though, it's a form of gambling! Every 70th customer gets an extra snack free. The other day I saw middle management here with literally BAGS of quarters hovering around the machine as if it were a black-jack table.
