Philippians 2: 12-18 (Personal Rendering)

So friends just as you followed my lead when I was there and when I wasn’t, I want to dare you to keep on fighting salvation's cause with passion and trembling awe because you know who gave it to you- Almighty God! His purpose is alive inside you. The evidence is in your motives and in your God-glorifying work.

So don’t mess with the formula! Don’t whine. Don’t debate! Don’t mumble vainly about your own petty opinions and needs. Stand blameless every morning before God because He is your Abba Father and this messed up world needs to know that. If you can keep pointing them to the cross, you’ll discover eventually that you are like the stars of the midnight sky as you publicize God’s message to everyone you know. And then at the end of my journey I can say that all this cliff-hanging adventurous race called Church wasn’t a treadmill- that we actually went somewhere together. Even now I’m like a drink- a toast, spilled out on table of our faith. And you know what? I’m glad. I really am! And you should be too.
