    Philippians 1:19-26 (personal rendering)

And because of this freedom from performance comparison and self affirmation I can now rejoice. Let me say it once more. My heart rejoices. And your prayers and the Spirit sent by Jesus will ultimately come to my rescue.

I'm shamelessly waiting with hope, not with fear but with ample courage so that Christ Jesus will saturate the whole Earth, His creation, no matter what happens to me here. So it's a win-win. Because life is Christ and death is a step up and out into greater reward!

If my life continues, I'll enjoy the rollicking adventure of this spiritual revolution and I'll see seeds become plants and see plants bear fruit. So if you asked me to choose, I'd say, don't make me. I can't do that. Like a kid in a candy store, I look wide-eyed at the options- Should I die and be with my Jesus (a far greater ecstasy) or stay earthbound with you, whom I love. It's not up to me but for now God's not through with me yet. My hunch is that God hasn't closed my classroom and ended the relationship of love that we share here on earth. So here I will stay until your joy is spills out and drenches your world.
