Reader 2: Quite a buzz in the foyer wasn’t there?

Reader 3: Looks like they are ready for our little 5 word question

Reader 1: What are you doing here?

Reader 2: Why did you get up this morning?

Reader 3: Where did you expect to sit?

Reader 1: Are you expecting anything to happen?

Reader 2: Did you come to see your friends?

Reader 3: Did you come to feel better about yourself?

Reader 1: Is there someone here you want to impress?

Reader 2: And why did you drag your kids out of bed?

Reader 3: Why are those cars in the church parking lot?

Reader 1: Are you heart broken?

Reader 2: Discouraged?

Reader 3: Angry?

Reader 1: Thrilled?

Reader 2: Puzzled?

Reader 3: Unnerved?

Reader 2: Fearful?

Reader 1: Do you want to be entertained?

Reader 2: Are you looking for fodder to use on people that don’t go to places like this?

Reader 3: Are you hoping your presence will prove your love?

Reader 1: Are you grateful?

Reader 3: Elated?

Reader 2: Cynical?

Reader 1: Do you want an answer to questions about unstoppable objects colliding into immovable walls?

Reader 3: Are you wondering about prosperity?

Reader 2: Longevity?

Reader 1: And how many angelic beings can dance on the head of the pastor?

Reader 3: Do you have a need?

Reader 2: Do you have a hole?

Reader 1: Do you fear the prognosis?

Reader 3: Are you burdened this morning?

what is worship?
why do we find it so easy to exchange that altar for some stage for the big show?

what goes through your mind when you look down and see all those eyes expecting you to perform?

who knows??
