my prayer today

Lord, I confess that I lack wisdom and understanding. I am asking now that you fill my life with your thoughts. i ask for a perspective far beyond my terra-thoughts. Lift me higher in thought. I ask that you reveal the treasures wisdom brings. show me to the waters of healing. crash though my weaknesses. shatter the lies. drown the old man that struggles to exist in the waters of his own self-salvation. pierce through the facade so that I can gaze through the fog of uncertainty. wash away this coat of carnality. charge the fortified castles of self-destruction. hold me as I tremble on through the fires of the here and now. Be my forever and ever.. .
