Today's Declaration

Consider it a sheer gift, friends, when tests and challenges come at you from all sides. You know that under pressure, your faith-life is forced into the open and shows its true colors.

James 1 2-3 (the Message)

Lord, I pray that today i will embrace this truth. Show me the joys of tests and challenges. Give me an eternal perspective- keeping me in the fight for the Kingdom. I realize my weakness and propensity for sin and doubt. I confess now that you are still Lord of my world, Lord of Family, Lord of trials, Lord of growth, Lord of healing, Lord of Fatherhood, Lord of Marriage, Lord of time, Lord of strength, Lord of creativity. You are also Lord OVER weakness, Lord over sin, Lord over conflict, Lord over the enemy, Lord over rebellion, Lord over the lies. You are Lord over everything that enters my mind, my home, my body, and my brokeness.

I choose to rejoice in the challenges today will bring. I confess You as Lord ad I promise to rejoice in all things knowing that these tests will draw me into a deeper relationship with you. I say "Jesus, You are Lord." I can do no more."
