    car talk

    my car now works well as an oven. The a/c is out but we're getting to the end of the summer and rather than pay 1200 for a new compressor, i think i'll fund my beloved son's CPA tution. Old bertha has served me well and if it will get me through the winter, I may put her out to pasture. 177,000 miles. 120K in 4 years.

    praying for a cool front...
