so today i pray,
Friday, June 3, 2005 at 12:03PM Lord turn me away from the frustration and futility
the anger and pride.
Bring me into silence and perspective.
Turn me Lord
toward the task of redemption
rather than revenge.
show me how to do good
i seem to have forgotten momentarily.
teach me to see the miracle of this earth
even when we are surrounded by asphalt and anger
kill the pride and offense and bring me into fellowship
with the angels of kindness.
