thoughts from Isaiah 42:8

I am the Lord; that is My name! And My glory I will not give to another, nor My praise to graven images.

Lord, teach me to cast down idols- invisible and tangible. Teach me this verse in everything I do. I will not give glory to anyone other than You- particularly I burn as a sacrifice of worship any root of idolatry associated with personal ambition and glory. I am weary of the glory industry. Let your glory consume the dross and filthy rags of entitlement and the idolatry of biotterness.
