    in banners brave

    languorous life

    and flesh of clay

    we glory not in dust or dew

    restless

    grave

    or evening hue

    waiting

    watching

    close of day

    we glory not

    in child and man

    in oceans cleft

    and dew-graced land

    we glory

    in golgothas song

    penned in blood

    the finished act

    the Son of Man.
