phil. 4:2-4
Wednesday, March 2, 2005 at 10:19AM And now I want to plead with those two women, Euodia and Syntyche. Please, because you belong to the Lord, settle your disagreement. And I ask you, my true teammate, to help these women, for they worked hard with me in telling others the Good News. And they worked with Clement and the rest of my co-workers, whose names are written in the Book of Life. Philippians 4:2-4 NLT
Paul challenges the church to not tollerant of intollerance. Get together, get over it, and get on with it. He chalenges other people around them to get involved. (true accountability takes confrontation and intervention) Otherwise it is only a kind of daytime talk-show voyuerism. There is something in the flesh that loves to vicariously witness public conflict. (i.e. church buisiness meeting squabbles) It is flesh, and flesh it shall ever be. Once the issue of conflict is resolved we can move on to the next sentence which is working hard to tell the good news of Jesus.
