my day
Friday, March 18, 2005 at 07:36PM after getting the schedule figured out for the close i picked Jacob up at school and went with him to the Mall. Yes THE MALL. emphasis added because the mall is one of my least favorite places to go. But I went so that jacob could go to a movie with his friends. i stayed away from the roving globuli of 8th graders and went to the book store. I finally bought Judi Hayes a replacement copy of "The Return of the Prodigal Son." The son returned but the book is still in the far country. But everytime I see Judi I remember the lost book. By the way, it's one of my favorite books. Nouwen is the author.
I also bought the a thrilling book on raising farm animals for families. I'm leaning toward sheep or goats. Maybe even a cow or two. And Jacob and I would like a pet pig. (Oops. I forgot I have a day job. Still I think, What a grand opportunity for the guys to get their hands dirty in some good Clampitesgue work.
i also bought a final cut pro 4 for dummies book.
it really turned out to be a delightful evening away. i also ran into Jerry Sutton, Pastor of Two Rivers. He's been doing some therapy that has made his head swell but now he's off it and he looks great. He's really been through a lot of stuff over the past few years. it was great to see him doing well.
I called Curtis while i was at the mall and let him know that our plan is to continue to pray about the home purchase, wait for him to return and our house to close and then to perhaps purchase if we feel like that is where God would have it. I told him that if it sold while he was out of town we will take it as God's good will. I figure that if God wants us there it would be there for us when we were ready. Kind of a Gideon approach.

I have asked some users I know and they said it can be done - but aren't sure how. I called support (found out during the call that I called installation support, not product support) and was told that they could not give me any help in using the product -- but assured me that the export is possible. I have tried to read the manual - but I went to school in South Carolina, so 'nuff said!
Anywho - if you get a chance, I'd surely appreciate it!!
Have a grand night!! --- Derick
