false perception of prayer

I am beginning to understand a concept in a first hand way. prayer doesn't end trials and conflict. it really provokes a strong opposition that brings the battle to us. During my extended prayer times over the past week I have sensed an spiritual battle brewing which has affected all areas of my life. i am praying for strength and faith to consistently and directly battle in prayer. Prayer doesn't make problems cease, i am convinced, it simply brings the inward battle into the daylight.
