racing to the finish line...

i'm just about done with the long stretch. i  don't have very much time to write but I must just place a few words here. today was a great day of worship and preparation. we are getting ready to do the "final hours" worship experience next sunday.  i can't wait to experience it with these people. this morning a spoke on Jesus washing the feet of his disciples and presented a video presentation using "how beautiful" by twila paris.  the response was very strong. i may try to put it on the blog tonight or tomorrow.

God has blessed me. i feel his guidance. i can only say now that our God is a God of deliverance and healing. He is giving me the courage overcome and i am losing my appetite for self preservation. it's an adventurous fall into his arms. Let it be, Lord. Consume me, flood my life with Your purpose. teach me the power of submission.

Teach me to love holiness. Save me from self-righteousness.
