Philippians 4:1 and the Kingdom of God

THEREFORE, MY brethren, whom I love and yearn to see, my delight and crown (wreath of victory), thus stand firm in the Lord, my beloved.Philippians 4:1 (amp)
Paul found his reward not in his circumstance but in the people he loved. Above everything else he knew that his fruits, his reward, is found in the investment of his life in people and in the Kingdom of God he was laboring to develop. the kingdom of God is not a place, not a denomination, not even a church. the Kingdom of God, like the Holy Spirit, is not a geographical kingdom. the Kingdom of God is built in the hearts of people. i have the opportunity to invest my life in people- as all Christians do. to shed blood, sweat, and tears for the kingdom. Lord, i pray that i can be a part of a global effort to apprehend the prize, the crown of the Kingdom.
I know that there is another kingdom at war with God and at war with God's kingdom. My focus should rest on this battle. nothing should seduce me away from this important work. Lord, have mercy on me and the spiritual battle i find myself fighting this week.
