arrived in odessa

relieved to be here after a long day of getaway. I'm both excited, nervous, relieved, ready, apprehensive, wondering, grateful, hopeful, drained, energized, and not sleepy...

can i be all those things at once? well i've checked the gages and it's true.

i dropped out of the blogosphere for a week or so because i just had way to many things going on logistically, and emotionally. I've found my writing floor and i'm glad that underneath the strewn philosophical socks and the layers of to-do lists is that little feeble desire to write a few words to know one in particular. To whomever ye be, be it mother or some guy in anchorage i greet thee with an arrangement of parenthesis.

I have been arguing with myself for about a week about the sentence, "God is in control." i could go off on this for an hour but i will just write it here as a rhetorical anomaly. Does God control or does free will rule down here? I know it sounds like those web polls but it's not. I am just trying to figure out free will and how God interjects Himself in the chaos of this fallen world.
