surfacing (a little)

busy is bad! it steals the joy of the journey. it's amazing to me that Jesus never rushed anywhere and yet I don't think i've stopped to laugh in a month. But I am resolved to slowing down. October will be better.

I resolve to not panic about money, enjoy my new preowned car., trust God with the producing, stop being cynical, and learn to say no when God says no. Even when the things to which i say no will bring me a slice of fortune or a good feeling about myself.

(This stuff is so elementary I can't believe I'm giving myself this lecture for the 54295th time.)

Lord Jesus Christ Son of God have mercy.

Yes! I agree busy is bad! I'm resolving to get rid of any unnecessary stress in our lives, regardless of the cost and in keeping in His will.
